Shadowrocket Price: One-Time Purchase, In-App Purchases & Service Costs

Learn how Shadowrocket is priced as a one-time App Store purchase, where to find the In-App Purchases section, and how the app price differs from fees for connection services.

At a glance

Shadowrocket is a paid App Store app sold as a one-time purchase. Check the current product page for the price and currency. This guide is for first-time buyers, anyone checking In-App Purchases, and users moving to a new device. It covers product verification, the difference between app and service costs, purchase history, and initial setup. Connection setup assumes you already have a service provider and subscription: buying the app and obtaining a connection service are separate.

How much does Shadowrocket cost? Check the current App Store price

Check the price when you’re ready to buy. Prices shown in other storefronts may not match what you’ll pay. The App Store displays the price and currency for your account’s storefront and shows a confirmation before payment. This guide doesn’t quote a fixed price because listings can vary by region and change over time.

Verify the app before checking the price. Shadowrocket is developed by Shadow Launch Technology Limited, and its app ID is 932747118. A similar name doesn’t guarantee it’s the same app; use the app ID to identify the exact listing. For the official App Store link and product verification, see the App Store verification guide.

Check app and connection service costs separately
  1. Open the App Store access guide on this site and go to the Shadowrocket product page.
  2. Check the app name, developer, and app ID to confirm you’re viewing the correct listing.
  3. Check the price and currency shown on the product page’s purchase button. If you see a redownload icon, first check your existing purchase history for the account you’re using.
  4. Before paying, review the app name and price in the system confirmation dialog, then confirm the purchase.

A one-time purchase describes how you pay for the app. It doesn’t include a service provider account, connection allowance, or period of service. Whether you can connect after purchase depends on the status of your existing service, your connection details, and current network conditions.

Where to find In-App Purchases and what they mean

In the App Store, open the Shadowrocket product page, scroll to the information section, and look for “In-App Purchases.” The section’s location and name may vary by system version and storefront. If expandable items are listed, open them to check each item’s name and price. Use what the current page shows; don’t draw conclusions from old screenshots.

The product page’s purchase button and the In-App Purchases section answer different questions. The button shows the price to get the app; the section lists in-app items shown by the store. Don’t treat an amount in that section as the app’s price, or assume that a recurring charge applies just because the section is present.

Bottom line: identify charges by transaction, not by section name

Before paying, compare the item name, price, and term; afterward, check your purchase history. If you can’t match a charge to a Shadowrocket app order, first identify what the transaction was for before deciding what to do next.

If the current product page doesn’t show a section, that only means the information isn’t listed on the page right now. Don’t assume what future App Store pages will show, or use another app’s listing as a guide to Shadowrocket.

App purchase ≠ service plan: what each payment covers

Shadowrocket is a closed-source commercial app. It reads connection details, establishes connections, and handles traffic according to your configuration. A service provider supplies the service account, server address, and associated usage rights. Buying the app doesn’t create a service provider account, and renewing a service doesn’t replace purchasing the app through the App Store.

Separate costs: manage the app purchase and existing service independently

App Store app purchase
  • You’re buying the Shadowrocket app.
  • Check the price on the App Store product page and in the payment confirmation.
  • Check purchase history under the relevant Apple Account.
  • Check redownload availability and device compatibility against App Store terms.
Fees for your existing connection service
  • You’re paying for connection access provided by your existing service provider.
  • Check the original service terms for validity, usage limits, and device restrictions.
  • Check the original service details for the server address, port, and credentials.
  • After renewing a service, update your existing subscription or connection details if needed.

App purchase ≠ service plan. Keep and check records, service status, and support channels for each separately.

For example, the app may open normally while your existing service account has expired. Buying the app again won’t restore the service. Conversely, an active service account doesn’t mean a new device has access to the app. When troubleshooting a payment issue, first identify whether you’re missing an app purchase record or access to your existing service.

iPhone, iPad, and a new device: find your purchase history before restoring configuration

Shadowrocket is primarily used on iPhone and iPad. Compatibility with Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision can also be checked on the App Store page. Refer to the App Store listing for system requirements and purchase eligibility. Don’t assume a device and OS are supported just because the app installs on another device.

When moving to a new device, first check whether the account used for the App Store has the original purchase. Your iCloud account and the account used for Media & Purchases may differ, so being signed in to iCloud isn’t enough to confirm ownership. Redownloading the app and restoring connection settings are separate steps: the first gets the app, while the second restores your data.

  1. Open the App Store and check the app or purchased-items list under your account profile. The exact label may vary by system version.
  2. Search for Shadowrocket, check whether a redownload option is available, and verify the developer.
  3. If a price still appears, first check your original purchase history and the account currently used for the App Store. Don’t rush into paying again.
  4. Once you’ve confirmed device compatibility, redownload the app and restore connection details and configuration from your own saved records.
  5. Check connection entries in Home and the active configuration in Config. Restoring the app alone doesn’t restore this information.

Whether the same connection details can be used on multiple devices at once depends on your existing service terms. Having the app on two devices doesn’t mean your provider allows simultaneous connections on both. Check the original service information for restrictions; buying the app again won’t resolve them.

Getting started after purchase: Global Routing isn’t a pricing tier

When you first open the app, import your existing connection details in Home, then allow the system to add a VPN configuration when prompted. This permission lets the app establish a connection; you still need to provide your own connection details. If you already have a subscription, add and update it from the subscription option in Home. After updating, check that the entries appear and that the protocol, server address, and port match your original details.

Config, Proxy, Direct, and Scene in Global Routing are routing options, not pricing plans. The three common options below are compared here. Scene is for scene-related configuration; you don’t need to add scene switching when checking a connection for the first time.

Config

Recommended

Routes traffic according to the rules in the currently enabled configuration. First confirm that Config has the intended file selected, then check its rules and policies.

Best for: applying traffic rules to specific destinations when you already have a rules configuration

Proxy

Uses global proxy routing. During troubleshooting, it can help rule out rule matching as a variable; connection success still depends on the selected connection and service status.

Best for: temporarily checking whether an existing connection works

Direct

Uses direct routing. Selecting this option doesn’t add service access and can’t be used to test whether a proxy connection works.

Best for: comparing how a destination behaves on your current network with direct access

If a website still connects directly after you select Config, first check the rules and matching order in the active file. For example, DOMAIN-SUFFIX,example.com,PROXY and FINAL,DIRECT express routing policies; they aren’t additional purchases. Match the rules to the destination you’re visiting and the policies in your configuration.

Before and after payment: a checklist

Handle purchase questions by checking what you bought, who charged you, and where to verify it. Use the payment confirmation for the amount, the developer and app ID for the app’s identity, and your existing service information for connection access. Checking these in order helps keep account, app, and connection issues separate.

To continue, visit the app verification guide to confirm the purchase link, then follow the setup guide to import your connection details, authorize the VPN configuration, and make your first connection. The App Store is the only way to get Shadowrocket. This purchase guide helps you verify the app, find its price, and check device compatibility.
